Urban Bush Women is a groundbreaking Black women-led theatrical dance company and social activism ensemble, founded in 1984 by choreographer Jawole Willa Jo Zollar as an amplifier for unheard stories of Black women.
The Urban Bush Women’s “This Is Risk” event takes place 7:30-9 p.m. Feb. 13. Tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $10 for students, $20 early bird and $25 general admission. Seating is limited and tickets will sell quickly. Mark your calendars!
For the Southern Dinner Fundraiser on Feb. 14 from 7-10 p.m., tickets are $75 per individual; $175.00 couple or bistro tables, which come with two drink tickets and gourmet Hors d’oeuvres; or $1,200 for a donor table, an exclusive round table package that seats up to eight people comfortably. The donor tables include three bottles of wine per table, exclusive appetizers along with the best seats in the house AND eight tickets to Urban Bush Women “This is Risk” performance the night prior.
There will also be a special “Meet & Greet” with Urban Bush Women before dinner, from 6-6:30 p.m.
Individuals, businesses and organizations who purchase a donor table will have their name highlighted in the evening’s program list of donors.
