Nov. 3, 10 & 17: The Little Book of Restorative Justice book conversations. Hosted by BRC – An initiative of the Spokane NAACP. Meet via zoom at 6:30 pm for three consecutive Mondays for conversations about this introductory book about Restorative Justice. Complimentary are books available. Nov. 3: Conversation about Restorative Justice Hosted by BRC – An initiative of the Spokane NAACP. If you’ve heard of restorative justice but are not quite sure what it is, come join in a conversation to learn more about its history, as well as how it is evolving and being used today within the Spokane community. Nov. 10: Circle Processes At Work – The Prison Within Documentary and Conversation. Hosted by BRC – an initiative of the Spokane NAACP. The Prison Within documentary follows the powerful stories of survivors of violent crime and prisoners incarcerated for murder as they participate in an innovative restorative justice program to heal the roots of their untreated trauma. Join in a conversation on how Circle Processes are a key component used in this program. 4-5:30 pm at The Hive, 2904 E. Sprague Ave.
